7-Zip is a compression tool used to open files or reduce the size of files. Upon installation, you can find it in the Start Menu, under "All Programs". To compress a file or folder, simply select the file or folder you want to archive. Then, click "File", "7-Zip" to find additional menu options. Select "Add to Archive", and an additional window will launch, allowing you to select the format, compression level, compression method, etc. Make your selections and click "OK".
